The CytoFLEX S conventional analysis cytometer can measure 13 fluorescent parameters from four lasers with four spatially separated beam paths: Blue (488nm/80mW/2 PMTs), Yellow-green (561nm/50 mW/4 PMTs), and Violet (405nm/50 mW/4 PMTs) and Red (642nm/75 mW/3 PMTs).

The FACSAria III cell sorter can measure 13 fluorescent parameters from four spatially separated lasers: Blue (488nm/20 mW/2 PMTs), Yellow-green (561nm/50 mW/5 PMTs), Violet (405nm/30 mW/3 PMTs) and Red 642nm/17 mW/3 PMTs).
Sort options include: (1) 1-4 populations into 5mL round bottom tubes or screw top microfuge tubes, (2) 1-2 populations into 15mL conical tubes, or (3) using the Automated Cell Deposition Unit (ACDU), defined numbers of cells can be sorted into multiwell plates or microscope slides (ideal for single cell cloning). Equipped with temperature control.

The flow cytometry training program for the London Regional Flow Cytometry Facility (LRFCF) is designed to allow individuals to achieve independence in safely operating a BD FACSCanto and/or LSR II analysis cytometer for acquisition of high-quality flow cytometric data. Training or certification by staff of the facility is mandatory for access to, and use of, all LRFCF cytometers. Untrained or user-trained persons are not allowed to use or operate LRFCF cytometers.
